From there we '; Text[6]=' to the jewel of Mozarabe civilisation, Granada, with '; Text[7]=' famous Alhambra and its mysterious gypsy quarter, the Albaicin.
Surrounded '; Text[8]=' snow covered mountains and dazzling in the winter '; Text[9]=' light, this was the perfect start to '; Text[10]=' tour. Unfortunately, the weather deteriorated as we left the last Moorish stronghold in Spain and drove towards the ancient capital of Al Andalus. We arrived '; Text[11]=' Cordoba, home of Averroes, in the pouring rain, which continued '; Text[12]=' the next 2 days. However, this did not spoil the fantastic sites '; Text[13]=' the old town and the stunning Mezquita, which was originally '; Text[14]=' in 785. It must be one of the most spectacular buildings we have '; Text[15]=' seen. From there we drove to Jerez, famous '; Text[16]=' breeding the fighting bulls of Spain, amongst other things. After that we drove '; Text[17]=' the coast overlooking the Riff Mountains of Morocco which looked close enough to touch. We were lucky enough to '; Text[18]=' across the Hurricane Hotel set on the Southern most point of Europe amidst lush tropical gardens at the junction of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. This means that it '; Text[19]=' one of the world\'s premier windsurfing centres and we were fortunate to see some extraordinary wind surfers battling 2 metre '; Text[20]='. The final leg of our tour took us '; Text[21]=' the coast towards Malaga with detours into the Serrania de Ronda with its charming white hillside villages. We won\'t forget the images '; Text[22]=' this part of Spain - the mixture of mountains, blue '; Text[23]=', intricate arches, beautiful patios and fruit filled orange trees in every city we visited.
